Guess the following two questions correctly to be in the running for a Finite Horizon end-of-year prize! Both questions relate to the most recent comic. E-mail your answers to me at quittingtheday AT gmail DOT com. In the event that more than one person guesses the answers correctly, the winner will be drawn from a hat containing the names of the correct respondants. The competition will close before the next comic goes up (in a couple days time), and the winner will be notified via this journal. One last thing.. you only get one try! So type your answers carefully before sending them in.

The questions are -
- The events of this comic closely mimic the opening sequence of a popular video game. What is the game's name? (be specific)
- Who/What is in the cell (not the obvious stuff like mitochondria, but what Mini is gasping at/what UFO asked Mini to search for)

If noone answers correctly, there will be another competition before the end of the year. Also, if you can't answer these questions - don't worry! - there will be another competition early in the new year :)

This comic is taking forever to write! I found myself stuck with a mute character in Boy's small intestine. Not much room for humour or discourse.. or is there? Well, I've settled on something finally. ~~Hopefully I'll have it up by tonight (but it might be tomorrow night).~~ It will probably be tomorrow night. Keep forgetting exam study!

Couple of small updates to the contact and misc sections on the site. The contact section now contains credits for the fonts I'm using. I've also put up pages for each of the comics in the misc section.. just not much content yet. Apart from those small things, there are two new comics in Bang!. They'll probably be the last ones I put up for a loooong time. FH will resume tomorrow!

I can't believe I just used the word 'hymen' in a comic. To my defense - this is the kind of language you would expect to see in the darkest, dankest, levels of Web 2.0's cyber-basements. For those who don't know, Web 2.0 is basically the simplification of tools, that allow users like you, and me, to blog, upload photos, videos, comment, and rate content. What happens when Web 2.0 philosophy is taken to its unholy extremes? I hope this comic helps to elaborate on this vile and unwholesome question.

Sorry this wasn't up yesterday! I started making one about magpies but it wasn't very good. Then it was 12:30 and I had to go to bed. I do not think I will see you tomorrow because there is a lot on. Sunday: maybe. Monday: definitely.

Sorry I didn't post yesterday! Things got a bit hectic.

For those who don't know, Mahalanobis Distance is a statistic generated during certain data analyses, to determine whether there are any multivariate outliers in your data-set. That's why when UFO says "For the love of Mahalabonis...", Boy says "Distance." See you tomorrow!
